Half a Man
a> (I) If it takes one man one hour to fill a bath, He is handed a bucket, shown into the white-tiled bathroom, the tap is turned on and a length of monofilament slices him from the crown of his head down to his crotch. He stands there, rills of blood delineating his bisection, then the two halves slide against each other, his insides spill out and the bucket clatters to the floor. Twenty minutes later, the bathtub is still empty. |
