Enid Blyton Archive

L> Indeed, I have read (source: The Economist) that
l> Enid Blyton's entire children's material (including, as it
l> does, Noddy and Bigears) has been *banned* in Britain for
l> some time now, as part of the PC purge the first world
l> continues to enjoy.

True, true. We here at MOOSE magazine have started an illicit archive of her works, including multiple volumes of the books (unexpurgated), sealed in vacuum-packed bags and frozen; ALL of the text online with 300 DPI scans of the illustrations. The whole shebang is in a bunker some 500 feet underground, independent power supplied and EMP-shielded. Access to these files is restricted, although I did allow Marian to go down and peruse some of the Magic Faraway Tree books last week, in an effort to gain a deeper understanding of the postmodern nature of the Angry Pixie.
