DS9 Plot Reject
a 17-year old goth waif with short dark hair and a completely unblemished pale white body (a bit like Ezri Dax's evil and sexually precocious younger sister) lies in a large black-velvet-covered beanbag in front of a black background with a distant galaxy being projected onto it. the galaxy slowly rotates in the background as the young woman, who is naked except for a pair of incredibly detailed Borg-style thigh-high boots. they are at least an inch thick and (fortunately for the actress) made of foam rubber. they come up to a kind of garter-belt arrangement around her waist. the idea is that the young woman lost both her legs in a shuttle accident and was being ferried to a hospital when the Borg assimilated them. her legs were replaced by the Borg, who were subsequently attacked and (somehow) defeated. the protagonist was rescued. the turning point of the story is when she realises that she has to either give up the Borg legs or keep them; the resolution is when (whoever's turn it is to be hero of the week) seduces her and she crushes them between her thighs (but not fatally). this makes her decide to keep the legs. unexpected catharsis point. bingo. gets 'em every time. |
