The priests in the temple had somehow acquired a bronze pot of the stuff. The pot was itself ancient, more green corrosion than anything else, slightly larger than a man's hands clasped together. The lid fit tightly, and the pot was opened only during a dark moon.

Inside was a thin, watery liquid. It smelled bad, tasted worse, and one who had once dared to expose it to the light of the sun reported that it was the same colour as the juice of the fruit which somewhat resembled a man's scrotum, which led to an odd combination of ribald jokes and eldritch fear. Unfortunately, none of them knew where it had come from, or that it had the magical property of healing small cuts and abrasions. Eventually, it was discovered that a hole had worn through the side of the pot and all the liquid inside had run out and seeped into the ground.
